Belleville Khoury League is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization operating in Belleville, Illinois. We are proudly affiliated with the George Khoury Association of Baseball Leagues, an organization that celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2011.

Operating since 1953, Belleville Khoury League has been serving the youth of the Belleville community for over 60 consecutive years.

Community Involvement

Belleville Khoury League wishes to instill the traits of sportsmanship, respect, and integrity into the youth involved in our organization by facilitating youth tee ball, softball, and baseball programs.

Members of the Belleville Khoury League are not just joining a youth baseball league. Our members are eligible for academic scholarships, have the opportunity to participate in parades, fundraisers, "nights out" at a professional baseball park, anti-steroid campaigns at Bush Stadium, and much more!

Leadership Group

Belleville Khoury League is currently operated by a 10 member volunteer Board of Directors, nearly 50 volunteer managers, and over a hundred volunteer coaches. Very few paid positions exist within our league; our league is primarily made up parents wishing to give back to their children and others like them by providing them a place to play tee ball, baseball, and softball.

Rookie Ball Program

Perhaps our biggest and most successful program is our rookie ball program. This program is divided up into first year tee ball, second year coach pitch, and third year machine pitch starting at age 4. Players are provided with a hat and shirt and are scheduled for 10 games. This program is meant to be instructional, but overall fun! Every child bats three times and plays in the field each inning. All games are played at a Belleville Khoury League complex.

Baseball and Softball Programs

Kids move up in a progression of age divisions in which diamond size and ball size increase with age. Rules are also progressive so our younger players can learn the basics and focus on the fundamentals while the older kids can perfect their game by playing MLB rules and distances. With guaranteed playing time and a round robin batting format, you can ensure that every child gets an opportunity to contribute to the team! Khoury League also offers opportunities for the more competitive teams as well by hosting tournaments and the annual Khoury League District Playoffs.

Umpire Program

Belleville Khoury goes on to develop the youth it serves by offering a "first job" opportunity by operating its youth-based umpire program. Through this program, they will learn leadership, responsibility, accountability, how to follow a dress code, and how to establish a solid work ethic.
